| We are seeking an experienced Workshop Controller or a Senior Technician looking for a step up the management career ladder to join a prestigious dealership of a leading UK Motor Retailer.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Reporting directly to the Service Manager, the Workshop Controller is responsible for the control of the Workshop on a daily basis in order to maintain a high level of productivity, quality and right 1st time repair. You will be required to run an efficient operation ensuring customer satisfaction through achieving maximum utilization of Workshop facilities as well as overseeing and motivating a team of 8 Technicians. You will also actively contribute to the implementation of safe working practices and security within the department.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
You will currently be a Workshop Controller, in a supervisory role in a car dealership , or a Senior Technician looking to move off the shop floor with the ability to manage the growth and development of a Workshop. You will have the drive and determination to maintain a productive department and the ability to work under pressure and achieve results through other people. An up to date knowledge of vehicle service repairs and maintenance would be preferable.
